The options under Select Data Submittal can be used to determine which records are filtered using Find Bridges, Advanced Find, and/or Map Find. By default, all data filtering is performed using bridge records included in the 2024 NBI data submittal, unless the option for All Submittals is selected, which will result in filtering through all records ever submitted on or after 1993.

Map find

This feature provides the user the ability to graphically select bridges on the map by drawing a geometric shape around the area of interest. The results can be viewed on the map. This feature can be used independently as well as in conjunction with the “Find Bridges” and “Advanced Find” features to further refine the bridge selection. This functionality may not be available for certain browsers.

The column for NBI item No.8 (Structure Number) may include previous structure numbers for certain years, due to structure number changes, which may incorrectly imply the information shown applies to different unique structures. A new column is added to the export file displaying the Latest Year NBI Structure Number to assist users by identifying all rows that relate to each unique structure.
